The quotation includes a standard up to 3 meters piping and electrical cabling back to back installation ( where installation is specified on the quotation) and no additional material is included in a standard back to back installation.
The quote is effective for seven (7) days from the date received and may be subject to change due to sudden price increases by our suppliers. The client will be informed of such price increase as soon as K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd is informed thereof.
Acceptance of quote confirmed with a deposit amounting to the percentage specified on the quotation, payment terms below.
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd cannot take responsibility for any damage or performance related problems caused by ingress of any foreign matter or person, animal or plant or part thereof, vandalism, accident, flood, fire, lightning strike, negligence or any other external source or act of God.
In the event of heavy rain etc. installations may have to be rescheduled due to safety regulations constraints. If this is the case, K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd will inform you on the day (or prior if possible) and an alternative installation time/date will be arranged.
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd split-system units are installed and measured to the standard of the installation technician present to comply with industry installation and warranty standards. If, for any reason, you would like the unit installed at a non-standard height/ position, please have someone present on the day to discuss/oversee and sign-off on the work, all prices are clearly stated on our quotation for installation as well as the prices for any additional material eg. Piping, electrical cable etc. and is accepted by the client when the quotation is accepted for in the event that your installation can not be a back to back installation
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd can take no responsibility of asbestos dust, pollution or general asbestos-related damages caused by the movement of the material
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd is not responsible to hire professional cleaning services to clean after installation and it is the clients responsibility to cover all valuable items in the specific rooms where installation will be done however our technicians will take the necessary precautions to try and limit dust and dirt during installation.

K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for unforeseen electrical issues existing within the building which may arise when installing air conditioning
Ownership of the Equipment shall remain with K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd until such time as the full Fee has been paid by the Customer.
Risk in and to the Equipment shall pass to the Customer on delivery and installation at the premises of the Customer.
The Customer shall use the Equipment with care and subject to instructions issued by Manufacturer or K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd when needed.
The Customer shall maintain the Equipment in a good state of repair, fair wear and tear excepted. The customer shall make good at its own expense any damage caused to the Equipment from whatsoever cause arising, including, without limiting the generality of the aforegoing, any damage arising from the negligence of the Customer or its personnel.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Manufacturer Warranty shall only apply if the Equipment is serviced and/or repaired at such intervals and for such period as recommended by K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd, and only if such services are done by K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd.
Unless the Customer proves otherwise and without limiting the rights of the Customer pursuant to the CPA, if applicable, signature by the Customer on any acceptance certificate provided byK2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd and/or its service providers upon the installation of the Equipment at the Customer’s premises or any other written form of acceptance shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement by the Customer that it has fully inspected and approved the installation of the Equipment, including all of the components of the Equipment, and that the Equipment and components thereof have been received and installed to the full satisfaction of the Customer.
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever to the Customer for any loss arising from any failure or delay in delivery and/or installation of the Equipment resulting from any cause outside the control of K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd unless such failure or delay is directly attributable to the gross negligence of K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd.
K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES TO WALLS / STRUCTURES CAUSED BY DRILLING WHATSOEVER, AND WILL NOT BE TAKEN RESPONSIBLE TO ANY REPAIRS OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM INSTALLATIONS! ALL CHARGES WERE EXPLAINED AND THERE WILL BE NO CLAIMS OR PAYMENTS WITHHELD WHATSOEVER.
On acceptance of this quote a percentage (%) deposit on the total amount of this quote will apply – FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATIONS. On acceptance of this quote a 100% deposit on equipment and material will apply / Full payment on the total of this quote will apply – FOR SUPPLY OF MACHINES AND MATERIALS ONLY.
CANCELLATIONS OF DELIVERED ORDERS & OR REFUNDS: Subjected to approval by k2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (PTY) Ltd, ANY CANCELLATION OF PAID DEPOSITS / ORDERS – A 15% ADMIN / HANDLING FEE of the total amount of the value of goods invoiced / returned WILL BE CHARGED / APPLICABLE.
Subjected to approval by K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd, and based on the conditions and positive proof provided that, goods supplied are unopened, un-installed and without any damage whatsoever, within the period of 7 working days, goods can be returned for credit / refunded with an applicable admin / handling charge of 15% of the total amount of the value of goods invoiced / returned. Any credit / refunds to be done ONLY after goods were received, inspected and items registered back in stock. All transportation / Courier costs relating from /cancellations/ returning of goods, strictly for customers account / or deductible from customers credit of goods returned
What is included with a back to Back Installation.
The cost of the back-to-back installation (i.e. indoor unit located on the other side of the wall opposite the outdoor unit) with available plug point for the 9000btu and 12000btu is R2500.00 (incl. VAT). The cost of the installation for the 18000btu and 24000btu is R2700.00 (incl. VAT)
The cost of this installation includes the following:
Up to 3metres of refrigerant piping, drain pipe and cable
Outdoor mounting bracket (if required)
Installation to a maximum height of 3metres above ground level
Drilling of one hole for piping
Holes will be filled but not painted
The installer will quote for all costs in addition to the 3metre back-to-back installation which will include but are not limited to the following:
Any required piping and cabling in addition to the piping and cabling referred to above, or electrical connection to the main switchboard
Travelling expenses in the event of the installation being out of a 30km radius from where the unit was bought
Any other extras, including but not limited to:
external isolators and additional electrical work required
any additional refrigerant piping, insulation, drain pipe and cable
trunking to cover piping
Please note costs of isolators are not included in the installation fee. Isolator switches are a regulation requirement and are not included in the cost of the installation. A qualified electrician must install an isolator at your own cost. He must install the isolator not more than 2metres from the condenser and within view of the condenser. The cost of this is in addition to the installation cost of the unit and must be paid directly to the electrician. Indoor and outdoor units must always be earthed.
Other Considerations
Whilst all care is taken to provide the most accurate quote via email/phone, minor changes/additions according to your personal circumstances may sometimes be involved on the day of installation. In minor cases the installation may have to be rescheduled to the next available appointment. K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd installers will always strive to arrive at the given time to avoid any inconvenience to you however, there may at times be delays due to previous appointments or by other unforeseen circumstances. If this becomes the case, K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd will inform you at the earliest time K2020191901 T/A Supercool Preventative Maintenance (Pty) Ltd can.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT ALL MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES COVERS THE SPARE PARTS OF THE AIR CONDITIONERS AND IT DOES NOT COVER THE INSTALLATION OF THE SPECIFIC PARTS. INSTALLATION THEREOF WILL BE FOR THE ACCOUNT OF THE CLIENT.

Air Conditioners to be serviced twice annually (interval of 6 months) from date of installation/purchase for the whole warranty period in order to retain the warranty and to be able to make any warranty claims on the Air Conditioning Unit.
Approved electrical connections to air conditioning units.
Customers are responsible to schedule services on due period.
